I’m so sorry I haven’t posted in a bit. I have been so uber busy with school and Bear that I have neglected my duties as a blogger. *sigh*

My favorite blogger has decided to stop blogging. I’m pretty sad about it because she is actually what inspired me to start this blog. She is stopping to focus on school, which is good, but it still sucks so badly. I mean I read her last post and I was all:

And I told my friends and they were like “What’s the big deal? It’s just a blog. It’s not like it’s the end of the friggen world.” So needless to say, I was pretty upset. I mean I was : upset. I know, it’s stupid

to be that mad over a blog going bye bye. But at the same time I really will miss checking her site daily for random awesomeness…

With that being said, My friend helped Bear and I film our first video blogs today. Bear does Game reviews and I do film reviews. I am very happy

that we are actually getting this off the ground. Hopefully, we will have a dot com in place in the near future.

On another side note…. Bear’s mom was out of town and I spent the week with him. It was refreshing to be with him all week without his mom

barging in on us. I mean, honestly, his mom is the ultimate friggen form of , but it is what it is.

Yesterday, while at Bear’s place, a wasp flew in to his living room. Now I am not only really afraid of wasps but also allergic, which is not good. So  you can imagine my reaction… it was something like this:

But Bear, being SO manly, killed that evil wasp. And I was all…

“Thank You!”

So that was nice…

And today my boyfriend and I hung out with one of our friends. We went to the Waffle House and then back to my place where we chilled like villains and did almost nothing. But we got bored so we decided to make a Black Forest Cake that came out BOMB AS HELL!! NOM NOM NOM….

I have to do course work for my English course tonight. I really dont want to… but I have to otherwise I wont get the grade I need. I did my math work and I finished my Psychology course work last week. Now I have to write a friggen essay that I dont even know where to start. I have to writ about how easy it is to make a healthy home made meal. Go me…

I’m going to try to review more movies here soon. I think I may just go through my movie collection, expand from there. I will include clips and such from said movies. I hope to one day expand to an internet vidblog soon. Any ideas how I should accomplish this?

Sweeney Todd Post

Okay, let me start off by saying I LOVE Johnny Depp. Helena Bonham Carter as well. And Tim Burton is a GOD. With that being said, I have to admit that Sweeney Todd is one of my favorite musicals EVER, and was before the film came out. Johnny Depp was scarily sexy as Sweeney and HBC was wonderfully alluring as Mrs. Lovette.

Bob Marley on how to love a woman

“You may not be her first, her last, or her only. She loved before she may love again. But if she loves you now, what else matters? She’s not perfect – you aren’t either, and the two of you may never be perfect together but if she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, and admit to being human and making mistakes, hold onto her and give her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she will give you a part of her that she knows you can break – her heart. So don’t hurt her, don’t change her, don’t analyze and don’t expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad, and miss her when she’s not there.”

– Bob Marley

Remember when Neville was a kid he was funny looking and a little chubby. As he got older he got a little less chubby and a little less funny looking. When you look at him now we see this…

I’m like WTF?!?! Are you sure that is the same kid who played chubby awkward Neville Longbottom? He must have used some form of magic to turn all schmexy and drool worthy…

When Your XBox 360 says it cannot connect to Live even though you can clearly see you are connected….

I am so happy I could just die!! 122 viewers is a big deal fro me. I really hope it will continue…

Does anyone have any requests? Please feel free to ask. I love making my viewers happy!!

So…what’s up, people?

That’s right ghouls and boils, it’s that time again. Another TOP list from me, The Film Fanatic. Tonight’s TOP 5 List is reasons to watch “The Addams Family” movies. Sure, they aren’t perfect, and GOD KNOWS they are SO 90’s, but for some odd reason we love them. Granted, the second one was a BIT far fetched, but it proved to be highly entertaining for people who were in need of a good grin or two. So without further ado, here goes:

5. The Oddity That is Fester Addams: So, who would have thought that Christopher Lloyd would be a good Fester Addams? I certainly do. He was a perfect Fester. Bald and stout? Check. Awkward and Unpredictable? Check. Creepy and…well, just plain creepy. He put on a great performance, although I do have a bit of an issue with the first movie. Fester gets lost in the Bermuda Triangle and is found by some random con artist/greedy psycho bitch and is made to believe she is his mother…huh… that’s reasonable. Right? Well, turns out she’s NOT his mother (big surprise there) and she was just using him to get to the Addams Fortune. And then there was the whole issue of Debbie in the second movie. Really, people, I thought it was rediculous to have Fester fall for a mass murdering sociopath, but, hey, the man can’t do anything normal can he? At least in the end he ends up with Cousin It’s new nanny, Dementia. Fester and Dementia, rotting in a tree….

4. Gomez and Morticia: No one can deny that the Addams are a creepy crew, but Raul Julia and Angelica Houston played their roles so perfectly that even I wanted to be around them. Gomez and Morticia have a strange relationship that is fueled by love, pain and intense passion. Morticia kills roses, Gomez destroys miniature diesel trains. Morticia knits creepy clothes for their expected child and Gomez gives his twelve year old a cigar at summer camp. While they are odd, no one can deny that they love one another.

3. Summer Camp: No one can forget their first trip to summer camp… even though the Addams kids wish they could. Nothing was better than watching Wednesday and Pugsley be tormented for weeks. They manage to wreak some havok though as Pugsley kills and American Bald Eagle, Wednesday finds a boyfriend and pretty soon, the brother and sister have burned the camp to the ground…

2. Turkey Day: Speaking of which…Pugsley was dressed as a Turkey…Wednesday was dressed as Pocahontas… How HILARIOUS WAS THAT?! “Eat Me! It’s Thanksgiving Day!” Plus Wednesday’s performance of the sweet Native Girl being completely abolished by the terror that was the REAL Wednesday Addams and her plans for escape were put into motion.

1. The Mamushka: What fun would it be to dance the Mamushka? I would never want to find out. The movie was bad ass because of this scene and I think it was one of the most entertaining scenes in out of both movies combined, I loved this scene so much that I downloaded the song and put it on my iTunes… before my old laptop crashed. Unfortunately I was unable to retrieve it, but I do have the movies to help me remember the Mamushka.

So, there it is. My top 5 reasons for watching the Addams Family movies. I mean sure there are more reasons, but what more do you need than a crazy uncle, two weirdo parents, a blazin’ hot summer camp experience, Turkey Day and The Mamushka?

Until next time kiddies, have fun and I’ll see you on the silver screen.
